In 2003 the Town of Scituate contacted the Trust for Public Land to request their assistance in acquiring the last parcel of land on Scituate Harbor. Coyle & Caron LLC was hired to assist the Trust and local groups in developing a ‘vision’ for the property including a preliminary program, plans, and sketches.  The initial program included expanding and improving the marina and parking facilities, relocating and expanding Town boating programs, expanding public access to the site and water’s edge, protecting and reusing two historic structures, and dune/marsh restoration.
